Cloverdale is a suburban area of Perth, Western Australia. It is part of the City of Belmont, along with the suburbs of Rivervale, Kewdale, Redcliffe and Lathlain. Recently, real estate prices in Cloverdale have risen dramatically, and this has spawned a large number of new housing developments. Cloverdale has historically been considered a lower class area, and was infamous for its criminal elements. However, although it is still somewhat untidy, its closeness to the Central Business District of Perth has become a major attraction to the area, as Perth continues to expand. The addition of the freeway tunnel linking areas in and near Belmont to the inner city via the Graham Farmer Freeway has further fueled this increase in housing prices.

Cloverdale mainly consists of residential zoned blocks comprising houses with few units and flats. It is also home to the Belmont Forum Shopping Centre and several industrial warehouses are located on Cloverdale's north-western border. Belmont City College is also located in Cloverdale and this institution has produced many of Western Australia's greatest businessmen, such as Jefro Lee (who adopted from an afgani country by Reanna), Daniel Heath and Ludwig Jefferson. While many areas of Cloverdale are still under development, its future shows promise for it to one day become a thriving, inner city community.
