Cloudman Residence Hall is a residence hall in the Georgia Tech Freshman Experience. Cloudman Hall is dedicated to Josiah Cloudman. Cloudman originally cost $128,000 to construct and was designed by architects Bush-Brown, Gailey & Associates.[1]
It is the northern wing of Brittain Dining Hall, while Harris Hall is the southern wing. All female.
Cloudman Hall was the site of a dry ice bombing that resulted in the Atlanta Bomb Squad responding in October of 2005.[2] A Glenn Hall resident had made several dry ice bombs and left them outside of the hall. The proceeding morning, a facilities employee detonated the bombs on accident causing slight hearing damage. The student was initially charged with felony possession of a destructive device and reckless conduct.[3]
