Cloud9 Mobile Communications, is a mobile phone company based in the Isle of Man.[1]

Cloud9 will be introducing a new mobile service with local Internet Service Providers. Mobile telephones will transfer to Voice over Internet Protocol when near Wi-Fi Hotspots. Cloud9 is currently developing converged telecommunications and associated services in the United Kingdom and Gibraltar.[2]


The first stage of Cloud9's Isle of Man mobile network launch will be limited to consumers who have registered on the Cloud9 website. Last year the Manx public were given the opportunity to register for pre-launch information in return for half-priced calls to other Cloud9 users for the first year of the network. These consumers will have the opportunity to join the network one month before the full public launch and benefit from special launch promotions.[3]
