[edit] Spaghetti Westerns

Your unmitigated flagging of my recent post re:Spaghetti Westerns is egregious and shameful if not disrespectful. You gave no reason for it's demise and I regard your action as judgemental without ground's! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.128.243.16 (talk) 11:31, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

Sorry that you feel that way, you post did not cite any scources, it also expressed your thoughts which also viloates the neutral point of view policy. If it was were rewritten, it would not need to go at the top of the article. Click23 (talk) 17:06, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Brian Sheehan

I did not add any new information to the Brian Sheehan entry, I only made a grammatical improvement after finding it through the "random article" option. (I don't have a Username, so I'm not sure what to do at this point in my message. Sorry.) 9:04, 30 May 2008

Sorry about that, I overlooked part of the original, and it appeared that you had added new content. I have reverted it back to your post. You should sign up for an account. Click23 (talk) 13:26, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Paul Jackson(Musician/Artist)

Hi there, I've added the reasons why Paul's page should not be deleted to his talk page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Treb0r (talkcontribs) 12:30, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

I have removed the speedy deletion tag, see the talk page. Click23 (talk) 13:05, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Thanks a lot - I'll be adding references as I find them. Surprising how many articles on WP mention Paul. (Treb0r (talk) 13:16, 3 June 2008 (UTC))

Welcome to Wikipedia, Click23! I am Travellingcari and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome! [edit] Re: Patrolling

Nope, I wasn't new-page patrolling. I think you're referring to the {{db}} tags I added to a few articles in quick succession, but they were all created by the same person within a short space of time. I caught them via their recent contributions page. - Dudesleeper / Talk 01:05, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Palm Springs (band)

I don't mean to argue as I'm new to the Wikipedia project and know very well that there are and must be met certain guidelines. However, in this particular case I would like to criticize the speed in which my article was deleted. I last checked on it last night, everything was alright, now I come back to check on it again and it's gone. It would have been nice to maybe ASK first, if maybe there was a reason for me to invest time to write an article. Maybe I forgot to mention some things as I don't have written evidence that is citable online and just need be told how to include that? I do suppose that there are numerous people out there, writing loads of sh** and that sometimes it is difficult judging whether or not something is relevant or not. But - even if the band is not known to you, it might very well be known in Germany. Anyways, now it's gone, so thanks a lot for that. I'd like to reestablish it, because - in my opinion - the band meets the following requirement: "It has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent from the musician/ensemble itself and reliable." In fact, they are quite regularly played in a radioshow they have got nothing to do with - that of the editor of the German Rolling Stone, Wolfgang Doebeling, called "Roots". It's on Sunday nights at ten. The album was on the German Rolling Stone user's choice list in the top ten (even if I don't have digital proof of that). As much as I know, they're also quite known in France. To cut a long story short, I see where you're coming from and why you maybe need to challenge the article, but is it really necessary? and is it really necessary to do it THAT quick, without really giving me a chance to explain or to improve? Does that make Wikipedia overall better? Nela 78 (talk) 11:48, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

I need to add the following: "to avoid speedy deletion an article does not have to prove that its subject is notable, just give a reasonable indication of why it might be notable." (see A7: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Criteria_for_speedy_deletion) and "Before nominating an article for speedy deletion, consider whether it could be improved, reduced to a stub, merged or redirected elsewhere or be handled with some other action short of deletion. If this is possible, speedy deletion is probably inappropriate. Contributors sometimes create articles over several edits, so try to avoid deleting a page too soon after its creation if it appears incomplete. Users nominating a page for speedy deletion should specify which criteria the page meets and consider notifying the page's creator." (same source) Nela 78 (talk) 12:21, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

I do apologize for tagging this, and if you look at my post on User_talk:Travellingcari#Revert of WEB ROOM, I had just got carried away with some of my tags for speedy deletion, and I am not doing things that way anymore. For situations like this one, instead of posting a speedy deletion request, I will post:
Tag Text that will be shown (and usage notes)
{{notability}}
category links talk edit
  • An optional parameter can be added to specify the applicable guideline; e.g.: {{notability|biographies}}, {{notability|fiction}}. See the template documentation for a list of supported values.

This does not tag it for speedy deletion, but it does notify editors that it needs notability references added to the page. Again, I am sorry for getting your work deleted. Click23 (talk) 13:24, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
sounds like a great way to deal with such a matter. thank you :) Now, can you suggest a way to handle the whole affair? Can the page be undeleted maybe while I try to find more sources for citation and notability? Or shall we do it the other way round - first find sources, then undelete it? How does one proceed here? Thanks for any advice ==Nela 78 (talk) 15:06, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
I would find some citations first and then provide all of the info to Gwen_Gale, the admin who deleted it. If you look here, she will even send you a copy of the original page. Once you get these notability citations, you can post it on this subpage that I made for you:User_talk:Nela_78/Palm_Springs_(band), and then have Gwen_Gale take a look at it. She will probably let you recreate the page. Click23 (talk) 15:22, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Pisgah Phase

"refimprove" and "sections" banners to the new article, Pisgah Phase. If I've done this improperly, please assist me. I thankyou for your help for it was originally meant to be a stub. More data will need be added to additional sections for the article to have meaningful substance as a main article, I think, maybe. I'm a WIKI-newby. Your asstance is appreciated and again, thankyou Conaughy (talk) 12:43, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Thankyou kindly. I've become confused and gotten my notes citations mixed up. Some of this is on the internet for easier citations. Others are from my notes and I didn't put the page from the scholar's book who one fellow published just a paper for the government. But, thankyou greatly for monitoring this. It must be WIKI correct. If not, it needs to be deleted or done by a good editor, thanks again... Conaughy (talk) 13:46, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
Please take a look at Talk:Pisgah_Phase. Click23 (talk) 13:49, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] 46th New Brunswick Legislative Assembly

The article in question does cite a reference. As stated in Wikipedia:Citing sources, "Articles can be supported with references in two ways: the provision of general references – books or other sources that support a significant amount of the material in the article ....". The Canadian Parliamentary Guide, 1970 is listed as a source for this article's content. --Big_iron (talk) 18:43, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

I must of missed the reference, tag deleted. Click23 (talk) 19:03, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Made a suggestion about neveredit page.
