Greetings! As the brighter among you have likely figured out, I go by the name of Cam. I've been active on Wikipedia since March of 2007, having become extremely involved since then. Most of my contribution to Mainspace Wikipedia comes in the form of article-creation & writing. I've created about a dozen articles since my beginnings here, ranging from extremely small stub-articles all the way up to GA & A-Class. My best article, Battle of Verrières Ridge, is in the process of undergoing its FAC. I've also begun uploading my own photos onto both wikimedia commons and Wikipedia itself. Most of my actual content work falls under the narrow category of 20th Century Canadian Military History, with a keen interest in Canada's involvement in the Battle of Normandy & the Attrition battles of 1916-1918. I have been known, however, to delve into other areas of military history, such as Maritime Warfare, Soviet Military History, World War I & World War II (which are my primary areas of study and content addition).

I also tend to involve myself in the monotonous and extraordinarily repetitive tasks of Peer Review and Assessment drives. I am also a member of the Military History Logistics Department (primarily with finding refs using my massive Library), Military History Review Department, & Military History Assessment Department. I have also begun a small project aimed at improving articles surrounding the Normandy Campaign.

In actuality, I'm 16, living in Calgary, attending high school in the Full IB Diploma Programme, and possibly one of the biggest Queen fans in history (on that note, also a huge fan of Rage Against the Machine). It is my plan, when I'm completed high school, to study military history and/or political science at the University of Calgary at the Centre for Military and Strategic Studies.
