[edit] School Sports

The town's athletic nickname is the Mustangs. In the past two years Clio football has won 1 game even after being moved down a division. Clio Area High School offers many sports to all students. Some include track, football, baseball, volleyball, and even swimming. Clio has had success in baseball. In 2005, all three teams, (freshman, JV, and varsity) won the Metro League championship. The freshman team went undefeated. Clio has had bad luck with high school football in the last few years. Two years ago, they converted to the Flint Metro League. They only have one win since switching divisions. However, a new coaching staff and weightroom may be the answer to bring winning football back to Clio.
