Clive Gregson

Clive Gregson (born 4 January 1955 Ashton-Under-Lyne, Manchester, England) is an English singer songwriter.

He first came to prominence as leader of the band Any Trouble in 1980. Between 1985 and 1992 he performed in a duo with singer Christine Collister. Together they recorded five albums. Both Gregson and Collister toured and recorded with Richard Thompson during the same period.

Since the split with Collister he has established himself as a performer, solo and in collaboration with artists such as Eddi Reader and Boo Hewerdine. In 2004 he joined Nanci Griffith’s Blue Moon Orchestra, playing on her album "Hearts In Mind" which included his song “I Love This Town”. He subsequently toured with Nanci Griffith and the Blue Moon Orchestra and co-produced the debut album by Edwina Hayes who supported Griffith on her 2005 and 2006 British tours.

A “Best Of” Gregson & Collister was released in 2006.

In 2007 he toured with Dennis Locorriere as lead guitarist and arranger on his UK tour.
