[edit] Controversy and Resignation
In September 2006, Clint was in Taupo for a dinner with people associated with the A1 Grand Prix race to be held in Taupo. Later that evening he was attacked[1], receiving serious injuries in an incident that attracted a significant level of media coverage in New Zealand.
After the incident, Clint Brown did not press charges nor was he charged. There were allegations of drunken behaviour and abusing a Maori woman taxi driver.[2]
As a result of the allegations, Clint was stood down by TV3.[3][4] Later, he resigned from his TV3 post.[5]
[edit] TV Comeback?
Despite an appearance on TVNZ's sports quiz show Game of Two Halves in November 2006, there is no sign of him making a comeback, yet.[6]
Update: Clint is now a sports host on Sky TV and Prime.
[edit] TimesFM
Clint is now a radio presenter on TimesFM, covering the breakfast show slot from 6am to 10am.[7]
