Clifford Williams (academic)

Clifford Williams Ph.D. (born 1943) is a full time professor[1] and chair[2] of the department of Philosophy at Trinity International University, Deerfield, Illinois.
Williams once said, "I am a philosopher of time. Everything else is just a hobby." [in conversation with his student Mark Witucke]. He is renowned as a compassionate listener and once had a business card printed with the motto "Have time. Will listen."
Dr. Williams is an historian of contemporary hobo culture[2] and a part time hobo[3] who is known in that subculture as "Oats." He has authored several books and many academic journal articles.
