Clifford Sleigh

Clifford Sleigh (b. 1963), is a Canadian who has been found guilty of first-degree murder, kidnapping, and aggravated sexual assault.

Corrine Gustavson, nicknamed "Punky", was kidnapped on the morning of September 6, 1992. She was found dead two days later in an Edmonton truckyard, about nine kilometres from her home.

He automatically receives a life sentence, with no chance of parole for 25 years. He was charged on March 14, 2003. He admitted to the crime of rape, but not to murder, he said that he kidnapped Corrine in a rage after he and his girlfriend got into an argument that morning. He thought that he could get back at her by taking the little girl and raping her.
