Clifford, West Yorkshire

Clifford is a small village near Boston Spa, West Yorkshire, England.
The village is 5 km (3 miles) south of Wetherby and lies in the Leeds Metropolitan District area.
The Clifford Village Hall is a small scale venue for concerts and plays in the Wetherby district.
Clifford has several churches, arguably the most beautiful being St. Edward's Catholic Church, which has an extremely interesting history.
Clifford has 3 public houses (The Bay Horse, The Albion and The Old Star) and a fish and chip shop(Clifford Fisheries). Unfortunately there are no other shops/businesses currently (2007) as the post office has now been converted into houses.
Clifford is a close community with its own magazine The Outlook which is delievered free to every resident each month by the dedicated committee.
