Cliff Rankin (born December 4, 1896, date of death unknown) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Geelong in the VFL from 1915 to 1928. Nicknamed 'Ticker', his father Teddy and brother Bert both played football for Geelong as well. Cliff Rankin is an emergency in Geelong's official 'Team of the Century'.

Despite making his debut in 1915, he never played a full season until 1920 due to the war. Rankin managed 6 games in 1919 and the following season kicked 48 goals, finishing as Geelong's top goalkicker for the year. He again topped the goalkicking in 1921, this time kicking 63 goals which set a club record for most goals in a season. It was also the highest tally by any player for the year. In total he the Geelong's leading goalkicker in four separate seasons.

Rankin captained and coached the club from 1925 until 1927, leading them to their inaugural Premiership in his first year in charge. He kicked 5 goals in the Grand Final.

A regular Victorian interstate representative, Rankin appeared in 14 games for his state and kicked 30 goals.
