Cliff Ellen

Cliff Ellen (born March 22, 1936 in Melbourne) is an Australian actor who played a prominent guest role on soap opera Neighbours as Charlie Cassidy. The first line of dialogue Cliff Ellen spoke on television was in Homicide (TV series) ("Four beers, please"). His credits include Crackerjack, Garbo, and Phar Lap (film) ( "You can't park THERE!"). A theatre actor of many years, Mr Ellen played the role of Gaston ("Come on buddy!") in the Australian touring production of Steve Martin's Picasso at the Lapin Agile. He also appeared in the 2006 Australian film BoyTown.
Mr Ellen writes a column for a local newspaper based on the Mornington Peninsula.
