Clifford Samuel Avril (born April 8, 1986 in Green Cove Springs, Florida) is a linebacker for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League. He played college football for the Purdue Boilermakers. Avril was drafted in the third round by the Lions in the 2008 NFL Draft.[1]
