I think the Scientology information should remain. Their HQ is often referred to as simply "Clearwater", and those looking for Scientology information will probably go to the Clearwater page unsure which is the correct one. It doesn't do any harm. M.C. Brown Shoes 07:26, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

I disagree it does do harm. As a non-scientologist and a Clearwater resident I completely resent the fact that this information would be included next to Clearwater's link on the Wiki. No other city no matter how infamous has this kind of slanderous information included next to its name. You don't see birthplace of Hitler next to the link for Braunau am Inn. If people already know its the HQ for Scientolgy they'll know it FL and not MN. I assume you have never been to Clearwater. If you had been there you would know that out of nearly 110,000 citizens less than 3,000 are Scientologists. Clearwater has a lot more going for it than Scientology and many residents resent the fact people want to label it as the predominant characteristic of the City.

I take your point. I am not a Scientologist either, I'm actually opposed to Scientology but but I do study and read a fair bit about it. The sad truth is that for many people, particularly non-Americans, Scientology HQ is the the only thing that "Clearwater" means to them. M.C. Brown Shoes 00:18, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
