This album (Cleanse The Bacteria), for it's time was the hardest punk/Thrash metal compilation ever! After listening to the compilation of Chooseing death (The History Of Death Metal and Grind Core), I realized that there was a song on it that I knew of from long ago. So I looked on the list of songs of Coosing Death and found that there was a song called Walls by Siege! I only knew a few of the bands from Cleanse The Bacteria like 7 Seconds and corrosion of Conformity. This is because I only had a copy of the tape from way back in 1985. When I heard The song by Siege (Walls)I searched through my old tapes that I kept through several moves and found it! The quality was pretty bad, but sure enouph it was as hard and angry as I remember it. That song Walls by Siege was on that old tape i found. I have been looking for Cleanse The Bacteria on cd for years, but with no luck. I recomend this Album to anyone with the thirst for mid 80's punk along with a twist of early thrash metal to get the blood pumpin. From what I can remember at that time in my life, 13-16 years of age when punk was huge for all my friends and I until we moved on to Slayer,Posessed, Destruction, Creator and Megadeth, to name a few. Those early to mid 80's punk albums were in fact somthin special to me and many others. Do youself a favor and find Cleanse The Bacteria and share it with your friends as mine did. Cleanse The Bacteria is truly a great Punk/Thrash Metal compilation for the ages.
