Cleveland Tigers (football)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Cleveland Tigers played in the National Football League, then called the American Professional Football Association during the 1920 and 1921 seasons. For 1921, the name of the team was changed to the Indians because three Native Americans were signed away from Canton. Like many NFL teams in this era, the team had great financial difficulties and so folded after 1921.
