They are a member of the Horizon League (1994-present) Cleveland State was formerly in the Mid-Continent Conference (1982-1994). Before 1982 Cleveland State was not in any conference.
[edit] History
Fenn College did not field a team during the 1943-44 and 1944-45 seasons because of WWII. On Thursday January 17th, 2008, Cleveland State had their biggest regular season victory in school history, upsetting the No. 12 Butler Bulldogs, 56-52. It was CSU's second-ever win over a Top 25 opponent, and the first since defeating 16th ranked Indiana March 14th, 1986 in the NCAA Tournament. [1][2]
