Cleveland Public Theater

Cleveland Public Theatre is a theater and arts complex in Cleveland, Ohio, founded in 1984 by James Levin. It is located at 6415 Detroit Avenue on Cleveland's West Side in the Detroit-Shoreway neighborhood. It will be one of the three anchors of the proposed Gordon Square Arts District. It is often associated with works that are progressive, political, or confrontational.
It is the home to the resident companies SAFMOD (SubAtomic Frequency Modulation OverDose), GroundWorks Dancetheater, TitleWave Theatre and New World Performance Laboratory.
The artistic director is Raymond Bobgan.
