Cleveland Marathon

The Cleveland Marathon is an annual marathon foot-race run in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. The 26.2 mile course begins at St. Clair Avenue and participants have eight hours in which to finish the race. The first edition was held in 1976. A half marathon and 10K race are held concurrently.

The first prize in the Marathon event is $1,000 while a prize of $1,500 is on offer for the 10km run. Among the charities supported by the marathon are The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
