[edit] History

ColossalCon was started by Atomic Eye, a small anime store in Lakewood, Ohio, in 2002. It began as a one day convention in Strongsville, Ohio. In 2003, it became a three day convention and moved to the Holiday Inn in Independence, which was its home for four of the next five years. In 2007, the convention announced it would be moving to Beachwood to accommodate its growing attendance. [1]
