Clesh offers a web-based editing package for home users. It is based on the same technology as FORscene, a platform used within the professional broadcast industry.
With Clesh a standard web browser is used to upload video footage (as well as sound and still images), this material is (in a Java enabled web browser) reviewed and edited together then the results are published in one of many formats. For example direct to the web or as a podcast. All content is stored behind a secure log-in and rights remain with the author.
Clesh is also available as a plug in service for web-sites wishing to include video as a part of their online presence. Clesh is configured to fit the level of functionality required including; uploading, editing, publishing, real-time chat, moderation, and so on. To integrate seemlessly the appearance of Clesh is also customised to match the host web-site's branding.
