Cleopatra (Greek singer)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cleopatra Pantazi (Kleopátra; Greek: Κλεοπάτρα), is a Greek singer with a strong, emotional performance. She is known for having represented Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 1992, in Sweden. The musician Christos Lagos composed for her the song "Olou Tou Kosmou I Elpida" (Everyone's Hope). Cleopatra scored 94 points and reached the 5th place, one of the best places a Greek song has ever reached in the Contest. She has worked with the famous musician Mimis Blessas and she sang a duet with the pop/folk idol Stelios Rokkos, entitled "Na M'Agapas" (Love Me). She was planning to record a new album, but the death of her husband and co-worker Christos Lagos caused her to cancel it.
