Cleo Baldon

Cleo Balson is an architect based in Los Angeles, where she has contributed to many well known structures.

According to Amazon.com, she has designed over 3000 pools in Southern California, holds a design patent for the contour spa with ergonomic underwater seating, and is credited with the development of the lap pool.[1]

She is married to novelist and film director Ib Melchior, with whom she is co-author of the non-fiction books Reflections on the Pool: California Designs for Swimming and Steps & Stairways.
