Clemens Fuest (*1968) is a German economist and professor of public finance at University of Cologne. He is currently president of the Counsel of Economic Advisors at the Federal Ministry of Finance (Germany) [1]. Fuest ranks 7th in the list of most successful German economists under the age of 40, published by the German Newspaper Handelsblatt[2]. Fuest is also on the editorial board of the academic journal ORDO [3].
According to the Handelsblatt, Fuest has accepted a job offer from Oxford University, UK where he will become director of the Center for Business Taxation in October 2008.[4]
