Clearview Regional High School is a regional public high school serving about 1,510 students.[2] in ninth through twelfth grades from two communities in Gloucester County, New Jersey, United States, as part of the Clearview Regional High School District. The sending districts are Harrison Township and Mantua Township.

As of the 2005-06 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,495 students and 104.0 classroom teachers (on a FTE basis, for a student-teacher ratio of 14.4.[1]

The school has dual credit or articulation agreements in place with Drexel University, Gloucester County College and Camden County College, covering thirteen of the school's courses.[2]

Clearview Regional High School is one of nineteen member schools in the Tri-County Conference, which is composed of schools whose enrollments vary greatly for grades 9-12. The smallest one, Clayton High School, has 249 students enrolled whereas the largest one, Williamstown, has 1,343 students.[3]

Clearview participates in the South Jersey High School Ice Hockey League, a high school ice hockey league with 20 teams participating at the varsity level from South Jersey. Golf is also a well known sport at Clearview. The football team went undefeated in the regular season in 2006. Also, the girls varsity swim team won Tri-County division in 2006 and 2007.

The girls softball team won the 2002 South, Group III sectional championship with a 5-3 win over Toms River High School South in the tournament final.[4] The team repeated the title in 2003, edging Cumberland Regional High School 4-3.[5]

[edit] Marching Band

The school's marching band was Tournament of the Bands Chapter One Champions in 1975, 1993-1994 (Group 2) and 1995-1997 (Group 3). The marching band was recognized as Atlantic Coast Champion in Group 3 in 1995.[6]
