Clean Diamond Trade Act

Clean Diamond Trade Act, established in 2003, is a United States law designed to stop the trade of diamonds that fund violent civil conflicts in many African countries. The law showed the U.S. participation in the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme for trade in rough diamonds.
