Talk:Claude Desseille
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Once again, you're not asserting notability when you create these articles. What makes this person notable enough to be included in an encylopedia? Just being a businessman from Belgium does not qualify. Hatch68 19:02, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
- Well, he is one of the leading Belgian businesspeople in finance, being the president of te Winterthur insurance group. Pvosta 19:07, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
- So what's keeping you from asserting that in the article? It's also very important to provide references when doing Biographical articles, especially about living people. You really need to read up on all the Wikipedia policies before you create anymore articles about people. It would save a lot of time later on. Hatch68 19:10, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] References
I added the references template due to the fact that the page found by clicking on the link under the Sources section has no information about this individual listed. If there is a specific page on the site that mentions him, a link to that page should be provided. Hatch68 19:14, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

- Thanks, the problem is finding english source. The information on Claude Desseille is on the Winterthur website, but in a press release.

- If there are no sources in English, perhaps the article would be better suited for one of the other wikipedias then translated here later. I don't really have a lot of experience in that area, so I'm not sure. Hatch68 19:36, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
