I've added more detail on his RAF career, his rank is given as Squadron Leader on the CWGC website, but I can't find a Gazette which includes his promotion to that rank, so it was probably acting rank shortly before he voluntarily reverted to flying officer and undertook pilot training. I've removed the final link from external links, because it looked suspiciously like the data was copied from the CWGC website. David Underdown (talk) 10:16, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
