[edit] Started page

Yes, I realize there's probably some sort of debate over whether this school (and generic seemingly-unimportant high-school pages in general) are relevant in any way, but in all honesty I'd like to see a page for this school. There's plenty of sources that need citing, and many that I'm sure would be hard to find citing for - things like the noise spill in the temp-wall classrooms I know from personal experience, and sources on the interent are scarce; it's not exactly evening-newsworthy.

Either way. I'd like to keep it, and to include information that is more relevant. If there are any alumni Wikipedians, feel free to add/change anything. I'm positive that this page won't be vandalized through the school computers - they have long since been blocked by Wikipedia, much to the dismay of many a student in the library. [edit] Added NPOV

This article is obviously written from the point of view of a proud student, and it requires some editing to remove the sections that read like an ad, notably the section on the SAC and comparing it to LPSS. Please improve this article.

I made some changes to it, and cleaned up some NPOV words I found (some that I originally wrote...heh...*cough*); does it look any better from there? Apparently it's on softblock now, so that people *can* edit it from the library provided they have an account; I still doubt any potential vandalisers (sp) in the library would have registered accounts.

Addendum: Apparnetly student-council members are non-notable. Sorry to whoever put them there, but apparently they're not worthy of inclusion. Pah! (I'm actually joking, by the way. I don't actually care about the politics of it, I'm just telling you that it's NN.  :) ) Décartes 03:55, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

Good point, as it changes from year-to-year anyways. If you need help inc leaning up the page, let me know. I've been to the school before and know a few things. Flag of Canada K-121 Widowmaker (talk) 21:38, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Rivalry with LPSS

When I attended CSS (Class of 1990), I was told that the rivalry with Lorne Park dates back to the construction Clarkson. During the construction phase, the students from both schools used the Lorne Park facilities. You can imagine the sort of rivalry that will develop when two football teams share the same home field. I'm not sure where to find documentation supporting this, however, if someone can find a citation, I think it would make an interesting (and unique) piece of trivia. [edit] Ditto

Ditto and I attended Clarkson many years ago. We have stayed in touch all these years. I still have my Chargers jerseys; they gave them to us at the end of the season. The black one is very warm and great for winter weather. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.244.43.112 (talk) 04:29, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
