Talk:Claridge's
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I feel there's a lot wrong with this paragraph...
"Claridge's has two ground floor bars - a main bar and a cigar bar known as the Fumoir. A wide variety of drinks and cocktails are available here and a good stock of well-stored Cuban cigars is kept in each of the bar's humidors. Thanks to the British government's "no exceptions apart from the House of Commons" approach to the forthcoming smoking ban, from June 2007 these bars will no longer be a haven for cigar-smokers to enjoy some of Cuba's finest and the humidors will probably be sold to collectors."
It seems to have an axe to grind with reference to the smoking ban and is factually inacurate (there will be many exceptions to the smoking ban in England which can be found on this very website - eg nursing homes.). It does not cite it's references and wanders into areas of open conjecture by saying the humidors will probably be sold to collectors. I will therefore hack this back to something more keaping with an encyclopedia. RogMcDog 12:11, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
