How did it start? Which civilizations have used it? Did the Mayans clap to express themselves? Did the Egyptians?

Is it just me or is this the most poorly written article on the face of the planet? Is it just a joke or what? The second paragraph is devoted completely to the use of The Clapper, while amusing, this is hardly Wikipedia quality. AnonHat (talk) 09:11, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
