Talk:Clancy Brown

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This article is within the scope of the following WikiProjects:

This article previously had his height given as 6' 3½" in the beginning, and then 6' 4". I've changed the latter to 6' 3½"; his official site says he is "either 6'3" or 6'4", or somewhere in between," while IMDB lists his height as 6' 3½", so I went with that. If anyone has another source, feel free to change it back. Odysseyandoracle 05:56, 26 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] "Add "Shoot to Kill" with Sidney POitier, Tom Berenger & Kirstie Alley (1988)"

I deleted this dangling comment at the end of the entry. Odds are it was probably meant to go here. -mordicai. 16:00, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Unlucky Danziger?

Slightly off-topic. Clancy Brown's role as "Danzinger" in the short-lived Scifi show "Earth 2" is memorable for me as probably the most unluckiest guy. In many roles where actor Clancy Brown would appear, he always would play a character who has bad luck or of some misfortune.

The characters he represents are somewhat alike the "red-shirt" ensigns who get killed or hurt from Star Trek.

I do not know if this is worth mentioning, but maybe a few may notice what I mean.

I've always thought Alonzo was the most unluckiest to be honest :-P thanks/Fenton, Matthew Lexic Dark 52278 Alpha 771 15:21, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] reprised his role?

The text says Clancy "reprised his role as Captain William Hadley (same last name and rank as in The Shawshank Redemption) in The Guardian." I thought "reprising a role" meant to play the same character in a subsequent movie or play, not a different, unrelated character, no matter how similar the characters may be. Am I mistaken?
