British Railways mixed class 506 three car 1500V DC. overhead electric multiple unit formed of Metropolitan-Cammell Railway Carriage & Wagon Company Limited driving motor brake second number M59405M, Metropolitan-Cammell Railway Carriage & Wagon Company Limited trailer second number M59505M and Birmingham Railway Carriage & Wagon Company Limited driving trailer second number M59601M stands inside the South shed at Longsight Diesel Traction Maintenance Depot, Manchester with British Railways Birmingham Railway Carriage and Wagon Company Limited class 104 two car diesel-mechanical multiple unit M53595 and M54189 alongside. Thursday 8th December 1983
