A photo from the Maritzburg College archives, as downloaded by Mr M Marwick (present member of staff, member of the school's Archives Committee, and President of the Maritzburg College Old Boys' Assoc). It shows the third headmaster of the college, Mr RD Clark, standing with a few boys in front of the Main Building (now Clark House) shortly after the opening of the building in 1888.
