Clayton Hall business and language college is a high school situated on the edge of Newcastle-under-Lyme in North Staffordshire. The school is based around a Grade II listed building[1] referred to as the Old Hall. The rest of the school comprises a mixture of buildings dating from 1940–1997. It is an 11–16 mixed comprehensive of 935 students and around 90 staff. Their year 11 school football (soccer) team recently reached the Schools sentinel cup where they lost to Painsley catholic college 1-1 (lost 7-6 on penalties), Notible player Nathan Brittain came on as a subitute in the 70th minute.
