Claudiopolis (Cappadocia)

Claudiopolis (Greek: Κλαυδιόπολις, city of Claudius) was an ancient city of Cappadocia mentioned by Pliny (v. 24). From its name one can adduce that it was named for Roman emperor Claudius.
