Claudio Kilgannon is one of the main characters in The Amory Wars, a series of comic books written by Claudio Sanchez, lead singer and guitarist for Coheed and Cambria (Sanchez named the character after himself). Claudio Kilgannon is the son of the characters Coheed and Cambria Kilgannon, and is alternately known as "The Crowing".

This portion of Claudio's story, told in a series of comic books, as well as in the Coheed and Cambria album The Second Stage Turbine Blade, focuses on his growing-up, and on his activities just prior to the deaths of his parents. Claudio's entire family is killed; only he is left to fight against the enemies that threaten the universe.
Claudio's siblings are assassinated in a plot to further the tyrant Wilhelm Ryan's grasp over the solar system known as Heaven's Fence, the locale in which the story takes place. Claudio escapes a similar fate by accidentally missing curfew. When he returns, he discovers his house in ruin and his family dead. Unable to deal with the grief, he prepares a suicide note to his parents, as heard in the second verse of Junesong Provision, and is about to take his own life. However, he ends up falling asleep in his own tears. "Point your gun in another direction, now that you've cried yourself to sleep.", (Neverender, The Second Stage Turbine Blade).
