Claudio Eloy Fermín Maldonado (born in Barinas, Barinas, 1950) is a Venezuelan politician. He was member of Party Acción Democrática. Mayor of Caracas. Candidate during the 1993, 1998 and 2000 presidential elections in Venezuela. It is good to know that had his party (Accion Democratica) been behind him 100%, he would have won the elections instead of Chavez
