Claudia Dey

Claudia Dey is a Toronto writer who has written several plays and one novel. Stunt is her first novel. It is published by Coach House Books.

Dey’s plays have been translated into French and German, and produced internationally – once, in the former Communist headquarters of New York City. They include Beaver, The Gwendolyn Poems and Trout Stanley. The Gwendolyn Poems was nominated for the 2002 Governor General's Award for English drama.

Dey is a graduate of McGill University and the National Theatre School, where she has since worked as a guest artist. She also writes the “Group Therapy” column for The Globe and Mail.

She is married to musician Don Kerr.
