Claude Napier

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Claude Napier was an English translator of the Scandinavian languages.

He is most known for his translation and dramatization of Hjalmar Bergmans novel Grandma and our Lord. This dramatisation was a team-work with his son actor Alan Napier. Still unclear if that person is the same as Alan Napier

Other translations into English by Claude Napier include: Sven Hedins "Riddles of the Gobi Desert", Sigurd Hoels "Sinners in Summertime" and Henning Haslunds "Tents in Mongolia".
