Claude Corbett

Claude Gordon Corbett (1885-1944) was a highly respected Australian sporting journalist who wrote, and was the sporting editor for the Sydney Sun newspaper in the early twentieth century. Claude Corbett was a fine amateur spotsman himself.
Corbett is credited with coinning the expression, 'South Sydney, The Joke Of The League'.
