Classified Ventures, LLC, is a joint venture by major media companies including the Gannett Company, The McClatchy Company, The Washington Post Company, the Tribune Company, and Belo.

In March 2008, GraphOn Corp., a publishing software developer, filed suit in U.S. District Court in the Eastern District of Texas, alleging that the company infringed on GraphOn patents that protect its "unique method of maintaining an automated and network-accessible database." The suit also names CareerBuilder, Yahoo, eHarmony, and IAC/InterActiveCorp. [1]
