Clarke Baronets

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There have been several creations of baronets with the surname Clarke (as distinct from Clark and Clerk and Clerke). The first was created 1617 for Simon Clarke and the second was created 1698 for Samuel Clarke; both were created in the Baronetage of England. The others are all in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom. The third was created 1804 for William Clarke, the fourth was created in 1813 for Samuel Jervoise; all these are now extinct. The fifth was created for Charles Mansfield Clarke on 30 September 1831. The sixth was created for William John Clarke on 29 December 1882.
