Clark Anthony Keating (born March 19, 1976) was an Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League.
Known as "Crackers" (after former VFL star Peter Keenan), Keating was picked up by the Brisbane Bears as a local (along with Brent Green in 1992, playing for their Under 19s). He was listed with the Bears until his debut in 1996.
Known by some as the "September Specialist", Keating's history of shoulder injuries sidelined him during the 2002 and 2003 seasons, but he went on and played magnificent finals series to taste premiership success with the Lions 3 times in a row.
Keating is the brother of former Adelaide ruckman Aaron Keating.
Keating attended The Southport School, Gold Coast, Queensland.
He was delisted by the Lions at the end of 2006[1].
Despite not playing the required 150 games, Keating was awarded Brisbane Lions Life Membership for his contributions to the club. At end of the 2007 season, Brisbane Lions has signed Clark Keating as a ruck coach due to Shaun Rehn leaving Brisbane Lions.
He will link up with fellow premiership players (now coaches) Chris Johnson and Justin Leppitsch
