This building is the Court House Building in Winchester, Kentucky. It is one of the oldest of its kind, it still stands right in the middle of downtown. It is surrounded by historic buildings like it, the Winchester Court House is one of the last few original still standing and in use. The Court House still contains all of its records of what has happened in the city. Many people don't know that the Court House was switched to a different building throughout time, but it is now in the original building that was built for it.
The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.[2]
