Clarence Township, Ontario

Clarence Township is a historic township, formerly part of Russell County, in the Canadian province of Ontario.

In 1998 it amalgamated with Rockland to become the city of Clarence-Rockland.

It was named in 1798 after Prince William Henry, Duke of Clarence, who later became William IV of the United Kingdom.
