Also known as Clarence Central High School or, formerly, Clarence Senior High School, CHS is a public institution for grades 9-12 located in the growing and peaceful community of Clarence, New York at 9625 Main St, Clarence, NY 14031-2083.

[edit] Campus
The modern campus underwent renovation from 1996 to 1998. A new wing with classrooms and district offices and a second main hallway were added before construction moved to refurbishing older areas, including classrooms, hallways, lobby, and the auditorium. A large new gymnasium and a state-of-the-art, 25-yard, eight lane swimming pool were added. The gymnasium is one of the biggest in the state. New music rooms with soundproofing and special acoustic shaping for the award-winning bands and orchestras. The basement target riflery range was rebuilt with new ventilation systems. A vast new two-floor media center replaced the library, bringing excellent technology and multimedia to the students. The Campus then again underwent renovation in the 2006-2007 school year, with a single story addition added to the east side connecting the main campus to the former Clarence public library, containing nine additional rooms. Also an addition added to the west side out towards Gunville Road, with a two story addition containing eight new classrooms. Clarence also added 8 new tennis courts in the south end of the campus and a basketball court. The track was also recently renovated, with new horizontal jumping pit.

Created in 1946, the district includes six schools in the Clarence area, north of Buffalo, New York.
The district is consistently among the highest rated school districts in Western New York. However, in 2006 and 2007, excellence was completely achieved as Clarence stayed in the first spot in Business First School rankings. The Williamsville school district lost to Clarence for the thirty fourth straight year.
