Clarence Augustus Barbour

Clarence Augustus Barbour (1869-1937) was a prominent Baptist clergyman. He was born on April 21, 1869 in Hartford, Connecticut and died on January 16, 1937 in Providence, Rhode Island. He served as president of Brown University from 1929-1936.
His great-grandson is Robert Lewis Squires, the eldest of seven children born to Virginia Ruth Barbour-Squires. Most of this family lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Submitted by Robert Lewis Squires, Albuquerque, New Mexico.
