Clare Frisby

Clare Kathleen Frisby (born 1966, Orpington) is a newsreader for Look North based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England.
She currently presents the regional opt-outs during BBC Breakfast and The Politics Show in Yorkshire and the North Midlands

Clare studied Politics at Hull University, graduating in 1989. She became a BBC News trainee in London in October 1989 and worked in newsrooms throughout the UK for the BBC and was one of the few women reporters in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War. She was at BBC Radio York for four years. Her television debut came about after a late Look North bulletin found itself without a presenter. Frisby made her debut that night and went on to present other bulletins for the region and the neighbouring BBC Yorkshire and Lincolnshire area.
In September 2007, she became the presenter for the Politics Show in the region. She also presents the breakfast bulletins in the Look North (Leeds) area.

She married Andrew Bell in May 2003 in York. In March 2005, she had a son, and they live in York.
